For our newly expanded facilities, we are seeking suitably qualified candidates to be part of our dynamic team in the following role :-
 
  Responsibilities
 
  • Provide strategic input on the adoption of information technology (IT) critical for hospital with dynamic data storage capabilities and a scalable network infrastructure.
  • Map out the IT requirements for the current and future needs of the hospital and agree on a IT adoption and/or development plan and submit a multi-year plan proposal for budget formulation which include acquisition, maintenance, upgrades and staffing.
  • Evaluate the entire application inventory within the organization and to identify the areas for improvement, to create an environment where the value and benefits of all the application is understood by the user community and maximize utilization of technology resource of the hospital.
  • Work with the IT functions and Operations Management team to develop policies and procedures relating to IT requirements, IT applications and IT deployment, governance of information and data integrity, and to enhance the response and solutions offered to internal customers.
  • Lead the commissioning of the technical and operational structure of the system, applications and required resources, within approved plan and budget.
  • Ensure all applications (financial, clinical, technical) are synced up with activities occurring in other applications both upstream and down.
  • Works with Divisional Directors to formulate and implement appropriate strategies and interventions to address under-optimized IT resources and consolidate the IT processes across the hospital.
  • Manage resolution of issues arising from IT adoption and proactively address to them.
  • Work with top management to evaluate and select IT providers. Manage and control vendors and outsourced services.
  • Work with Legal function to formulate the terms of engagement, service level agreements, and procurement.
 
  Requirements
 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology. Additional certification or professional or Masters qualification preferred.
  • Proficiency in IT management project methodologies, well versed in all facets of healthcare IT delivery and possess the managerial skills to run a complex multi-systems communication technology integration project.
  • A strong, change management leader coming from a hospital applications background with experience supporting clinical applications, able to leverage one’s experience and knowledge of how the pieces of healthcare technology fit together - clinical, financial, ancillary and interface area.
  • At least ten years’ experience in a formal application leadership function in a hospital setting and have demonstrated a high level of operational knowledge of IT in critical care. Has led in executing strategy into operational reality, and strong in data and process analysis.
  • Excellent business management skills, good written and oral communication, good conceptual thinking as well as strategic orientation.
  • Excellent people management skills with the demonstrated capability of building, integrating, and optimizing teams; and be comfortable working with clinicians and physicians.
