  • Oversee pre contracts/tender estimating - Securing jobs
  • Oversee post contracts - Contracts administration
  • Oversee contracts services - Contractual and legal matters
  • Play a key role in finalising tender, procurement of subcontractors and manage career development of staff

  • Reach a competent level to finalise tender
  • Develop a systematic approach in tendering
  • Secure profitable jobs and ensure Company Business Plan is achieved
  • Play a key role in sub-contracting of works
  • Review current practices and implement proposed improvements
  • Review, develop and implement change in work scope of all contracts staff
  • Develop controls and reporting on contracts administration
  • Devise and implement education and training on contractual matters
  • Develop and implement contracts review
  • Set-up action plans, conduct regular meetings with section heads to review operations and related matters
  • Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or relevant discipline
  • Min 10 years experience with 3 years in a similar capacity preferably in highway, highrise and infrastructure projects
  • Capable of handling tender submission
  • Good knowledge of construction standard operating procedures
  • Possess strong contractual knowledge, negotiation and writing skills
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English is a pre-requisite
  • Pleasant disposition and possess leadership quality
  • Able to work under pressure and deliver within committed deadlines
  • Good networking with contractors, suppliers and relevant parties to conduct strategic sourcing of materials
