  • The primary responsibility is to ensure that the Hotel brand is managed in an active way to increase the value of this asset. This will involve consistent positioning across a diverse range of product / service categories, and brand marketing through a wide variety of media and markets.
  • Evaluate content relevancy of the Brand Manual.
  • Develop marketing strategies and plans to promote the brand, products and services; proactively initiate programmes six (6) to nine (9) months prior to event.
  • Develop promotional programs to enhance the brand value of the Hotel.
  • Evaluate brand performance and recommend / execute appropriate changes in plans to achieve optimal results.
  • Assist all operating / revenue-generating departments in the development of brand marketing plans and strategies, especially where new products, services and/or markets are involved. This includes advertising programmes, particularly to ensure consistency and maximum impact in all categories.
  • Ensures all project deadlines are met and accountable for quality of work delivered.
  • Will be the lead person in project planning, scope, set-up, budgeting, timing, execution and monitoring for programmes (or projects).
  • Degree in business, marketing, journalism or related discipline is preferred with excellent command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and verbal)
  • Prior experience in a similar capacity in a recognized FMCG or with at least five (5) years experience in creative, direct marketing and/or strategic brand planning.
  • Self-starter with good organization, project planning, methodical and multitasking skills with the passion to deliver quality work while meeting tight deadlines. Able to initiate sales, marketing plans, promotions and activities.
  • Good communication skills and able to work closely across many departments in managing and prioritising various project objectives.
  • Intuitive and must be able to anticipate and meet needs of the brand.
  • To effectively use results-driven approach, have a hands-on mentality, communicate to all levels, have a strong sense of urgency, ability to think and act strategically in a rapidly changing environment and manage ambiguity.
