Sunway University’s achievement of EXCELLENT rating in the first ever MQA Rating System for Institutions of Higher Learning (SETARA) in 2009, establishes its status as one of Malaysia’s premier tertiary institutions. - The successful candidate will be based in the Department of Computer Science and Networked System, Faculty of Science & Technology
- Candidates should hold a PhD in IT / Computing / Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Software Engineering or related discipline and ideally have experience of teaching and research in the higher education sector
- Experience of the UK higher education sector would be ideal but not essential
- Candidates should also be able to teach one or more of the following topics: Web Programming, Distributed Programming, and Concurrent Programming, at postgraduate as well as undergraduate levels
- Candidates should have the ability to complement the Department’s current expertise in research
- Candidates should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills appropriate for interacting with students, staff and industry, together with a strong commitment to teamwork and multidisciplinary collaboration
