- The successful candidate will be based in the Department of Computer Science and Networked System, Faculty of Science & Technology
- Candidates should hold a PhD in IT / Computing / Computer Science / Computer System Engineering or related discipline and ideally have experience of teaching and research in the higher education sector. PhD candidate who has submitted the thesis can be considered
- Experience of the UK higher education sector would be ideal but not essential
- Candidates should also be able to teach three of the following topics: Object-Oriented Programming (Java), Programming Principles (C language), C# Programming, 3D Modelling, Computer Vision and Mobile Computing, at undergraduate level
- Candidates should have the ability to complement the Department’s current expertise in research
- Candidates should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills appropriate for interacting with students, staff and industry, together with a strong commitment to teamwork and multidisciplinary collaboration
