  Responsibilities
 
  • Liaise and coordinate activities with the client’s representatives and among consultants, project team, surveyors, subcontractors and local authorities to ensure all requirements are fully addressed and incorporated during design and construction stage
  • When required, manage the technical team with the objective of ensuring that the project is co-ordinated satisfactorily, in all aspects of technical and related drawings for the entire duration of the project within budgeted costs, specified quality and contractual time
  • Ensure deadlines are met when coordinating for the preparation of proposals, technical documentation and materials for presentation and construction
  • Check all technical and related drawings for discrepancies, omissions and assist to design and develop details and interfacing details as appropriate
  • Coordinate with Operations Team to ensure all works are in compliance with the drawings and contract requirements
  • Assist to develop work programmes for project implementation and progress monitoring
  • Prepare, update and compile progress status and progress reports within the set deadlines
  • Liaise with contracts administrator and maintain proper record for drawings and documentation for timely contractual administration of client’s instructions, design change, authority requirements and ordered variations as the case maybe in accordance to the contracts requirements
  • Ensure client’s oral instructions and design change(s) are confirmed in writing and obtain client’s written consent on instructions and/or change(s) involving time and cost impact
  • Coordinate preparation, checking and compilation of ‘as-built’ drawings with project team, draftsperson and consultants for full records of details and information
  • Ensure liaison with authorities and consultants is maintained at all times and; co-ordinate with project team on matters pertaining to timely application for Certificate of Fitness for Occupation
  • When required, chair regular technical co-ordination meetings among project team members, consultants and client’s representatives
  • Ensure all drafting works are completed as and when required within the deadlines
  • Participate actively in the Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) Programme that includes developing 3D models and related coordination/integration processes among trades
 
  Requirements
 
  • Degree in Architectural, Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • Min 2 years experience in draughting, design and/or construction works
  • Knowledge in Revit and computer-aided 3D modelling, coordination & integration software
  • Proficient in AUTOCAD software and is computer literate ie. MS Office
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership & analytical skills
