  Responsibilities
 
  • Lead and manage a team in all construction planning activities from pre-contract (tender stage) to construction implementation
  • Provide alternative planning concepts for feasibility and/or buildability of projects
  • Ensure objectives and action plans in respect of planning activities identified in the Annual Balance Scorecards are achieved as per the targets
  • Ensure construction processes and work methodologies are continuously reviewed and formalised for site implementation which will ultimately increase productivity of work at site
  • Responsible for all planning aspects to achieve continuous improvement and excellence in meeting Quality, Environmental, Safety and Health (QESH) requirements in contract and clients’ expectations
  • Ensure accurate scheduling reports are generated through standard planning procedures and guidelines as well as ensuring staff are trained and competent in specific planning software
 
  Requirements
 
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant disciplines
  • Min 6 years experience in civil or building construction planning or project scheduling in the construction industry
  • Good knowledge in establishing construction or logistics planning system, procedure and implementation
  • Technical proficiency in Primavera, MS Project with resources levelling and other relevant applications is essential
  • Those with experience in tender exercise and post contract will have an added advantage
  • Able to lead and coordinate works amongst the project team
  • Possess on transport and willing to travel to project sites
