  Responsibilities
 
  • To oversee the complete operations of The Villas including check in and check out; room inspection and set up; preparation, set up and service at the Villa Lounge; providing personalised in room butler service, maintaining guest profiles and other related duties.
  • To ensure that all guests are met with a warm smile, appropriate greetings and addressed by name upon their arrival and escorted to the room for in room registration.
  • Manages the guest experience by creating a “home away from home” atmosphere by providing thoughtful and attentive service with relaxed efficiency and complete responsiveness to the desires of the guests.
  • To ensure the appearance of the Pavillion, in the sense of appearance, orderliness, cleanliness, set up of tables, chairs, sofas and buffet area are well maintained and in accordance with the Hotel’s Quality Service Standards.
  • Actively handles Concierge tasks such as general information, tourists attractions, tours, guests activities, flight arrangements, faxes, messages, transportation and relays accurate information to guests.
  • Anticipate guest needs by ensuring that repeated guests’ requirements are met based on information obtained from Guest Profiles whilst obtaining necessary and valuable information of new guests and ensures data is updated accurately.
 
  Requirements
 
  • Minimum SPM qualification or any other related discipline.
  • Possess a class 'D' driving license.
  • Ability to communicate fluently and write proficiently in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Ability to speak other languages such as Mandarin, French, Arabic and Japanese is an added advantage.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a Hotel either at the Front Office or Food and Beverage department.
  • Good personality, courteous with a positive attitude and a team player.
  • Ability to effectively present information and communicate accurately to guests and all levels of staff.
  • Ability to multi-task and work on shifts.
  • Has extensive general knowledge about places of interest and tourist attractions.
