  • Responsible for proper preparation for all dishes with regards to basic preparations, taste, temperature, garnishing and timing in accordance to the job requirements.
  • Ensure proper mise en place for service.
  • Supervise subordinates and ensure proper coverage of staffing in team
  • Arranges all food items properly in stores.
  • Picks up food orders.
  • Keeps the work area clean and tidy. Adheres strictly to safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Maintains proper personal appearance, hygiene and sanitation.
  • Candidate must possess at least a Primary/Secondary School/SPM/"O" Level, Higher Secondary/STPM/"A" Level/Pre-U, Professional Certificate, Diploma or Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Food & Beverage Services Management or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years experience in cooking in a Western Kitchen in a 4-5 star hotel capacity
  • Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Food/Beverage/Restaurant Service or equivalent. Job role in Chef or Food Preparation/Kitchen Hand.
  • Good knowledge in hot and cold cooking.
  • Ability to supervise, motivates, lead and organize.
  • Ability to communicate in Simple English.
  • Good attitude, judgment, integrity and responsible.
  • Independent and able to train Commis and Trainees
  • Ability to work on split shift.
