Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain broadcast systems such as baseband systems, head-end systems, video servers, file servers, data archive library systems, automation systems, content control systems, network systems and transmission presentation systems.
- Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, routine and preventive maintenance on broadcast systems.
- Assist in integration of new systems, system upgrades and system acceptance tests.
- Monitor audio/video quality and other broadcast systems across the transmission chain.
- Generate reports and maintain system inventory.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Electrical & Electronics or any other related field of studies.
- Working knowledge of PC hardware, Windows and networking protocols will be advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a team environment.
- Demonstrate strong trouble-shooting/diagnostics skills.
- Must be willing to work on shift and irregular hours.
