Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

- Ensure systems functions are within specifications; and perform corrective and preventive maintenance as per the procedures and schedules.
- Fault rectification to be carried out according to the agreed KPIs.
- Perform operational activities as per departmental procedures.
- Perform first-line maintenance on all systems/equipment within the department.
- Address, eliminate (and/or minimize) and resolve complaints from internal and external customers.
- Perform stock keeping and prepare/update inventory.
- Assist in the project implementation and installation (including commissioning and acceptance testing).
- Liaise with vendors on system development and enhancement (on technical matters).
- Carry out upgrade and modification work on systems within the department's jurisdiction.
- Coordinating and planning of events/activities.
- Training and coaching of Engineers/Technicians on broadcast/transmission sub-systems.
- Evaluate and propose sub-system/equipment upgrades and to ensure minimal downtime on incoming and outgoing feeds.
Requirements

Requirements:

- Must have a Degree in Electrical & Electronics, Communications Engineering or any other related field of studies.
- Minimum of 1 year working experience in a related industry.
- Innovative and able to come up with positive suggestions for process improvement.
- Good communications skills with good interpersonal skills.
- Good analytical ability and strong planning, organizing and collaborative skills.
- Independent, strong in leadership, constantly self-motivated and result-oriented.
- Willing to work in rotating shift pattern and able to travel between Bukit Jalil and Cyberjaya broadcast centres.
