Responsibilities
• Complete operational responsibility for Astro Awani Web Infrastructure (on a day to day basis)
• Monitoring performance metrics of Web Site.
• Performing routine server housekeeping tasks
• Support developers with dependency issues and maintaining a development stack (Linux only)
• Writing deployment scripts
• Adding new websites and scaling infra as and when required.
Requirements
• Experience with Linux (Debian/CentOS) and with a cloud environment.
• Troubleshooting Linux Server issues (Load,Network,Disk,CPU).
• Basic understanding of networking.
• Scripting Skills in any one of Ruby,Bash,Perl,Python,Apache, MySQL
• Knowledge of working with Source Version Control (git/svn)
• Must be a self-motivated individual who takes pride in delivering high quality work
• Must be able to learn, implement, and document new technologies quickly
• Excellent oral communication skills in English
• Efficiency and organizational skills a must to handle large priority lists and status updates
