Responsibilities
- To market commercial airtime, sponsorship of programmes & events on Awani channel to advertisers and media agencies. - To develop new markets for Awani??s news content - To liaise with Content/Editorial and Operations teams to ensure all sales deliverables are executed - To develop and execute sales strategy for non-traditional revenues (e.g. events, ground sponsorships, editorial and production services, etc.) - To design revenue enhancement products based on the channel??s content - To prepare weekly sales reports & track performance vs target - To manage, train and motivate personnel within the team to achieve their respective KPIs
Requirements
- Basic University degree/diploma with related work experience - A minimum of 5 years of work experience in the broadcasting industry - Experience managing a small team - Appreciation of news editorial and content - 5-10 years of work experience in the broadcasting industry - Strong client base among agencies and customers - Excellent interpersonal skills - Excellent negotiation skills - Excellent Networking skills - Excellent Presentation skills - Knowledge of Microsoft word, excel and powerpoint - Good command of English
