Responsibilities

• Constantly seek updates from various content markets & licensors on up and coming properties
• Understand channel brands and identify acquired content that is relevant to their individual programming needs.
• Constantly interact with channels on their content plans , and service their acquired content needs
• Identify content sources/licensors for future HD requirements if any.
• Maintaining fantastic business relationships with licensors both locally and internationally
• Ensuring consistency & management of rights and aligning commercial terms across all acquired properties.
• Ensure that the company gets the best benefit in every acquisition deal executed
• Managing licensor expectations and business requirements to ensure good working relationships with licensors
• Supporting the channel operations
• Identify content sources/licensors for our HD requirements if any.
• Interacting with the internal legal team to ensure licensing requirements & contract execution as per the companies?? policy.
• Work with finance on billing & Invoicing to execute timely payments
• Manage rights internally to ensure windowing & adherence to licensing terms and conditions
• Manage deliveries of acquired properties and the return of materials wherever applicable.
• Creating a sound succession plan to ensure business continuity
• To adhere to all safety procedures and policies.

• Degree with at least 8 years of working experience in the content media business ,specifically with exposure to marketing , business development, some amount of programming, & content licensing is desirable
• Understanding of the business requirements, across platforms.
• Product knowledge of television programming, including sufficient knowledge of television production
• Knowledge of the local and regional television landscape, especially in Pay TV & IPTV
• Good networking and communication skills
• Excellent working relationships with international & local content licensors
• Planning and organisational skills. Able to multi- task
• A `Do-er?? with a `Can-do?? attitude
• Detail oriented
• Self-motivated and proactive in handling daily operations
