Responsibilities
  • Your Responsibilities: (What is this role all about? What does the applicant have to do?)
  •  Responsible for the handling assigned Security functions.
  •  Implement Security Management System i.e. policies, procedures, standards, guidelines, risk assessments, investigations, incident response, audits and trainings.
  •  Implement and ensure that all security systems and equipment are working properly.
  •  Establish good operational working relationships with local and state law enforcement agencies and Security teams of other telcos.
  •  Manage vendors’ personnel and ensure delivery of performance.
  •  Provide regular Security plans to mitigate/anticipate security issues faced in the areas assigned.
  •  Assist the Head, Security whenever required.


Requirements
  • You are: (personality / competencies etc)
  •  Conversant with Security Management (systems, procedures, investigations etc).
  •  Highly independent, possesses strong initiative & innovative.
  •  Able to solve problems quickly and provide short term solutions to mitigate them.
  •  Capable of providing short term plans to mitigate Security issues affecting the Company.
  •  Good in communicating with impact and able to convince others to achieve Company’s objectives.
  • Your Merits: (these are must haves in terms of qualifications & experience & specific technical /professionals skills that you want from the applicant)
  •  Bachelor’s degree in Law, Jurisprudence, Criminology or equivalent.
  •  Min 10 years’ experience in the law enforcement area (preferably former Police/Military Officer).
  •  Aged between 40-45 years old with relevant experience, physically and medically fit with no criminal record .
  •  Possesses networking with law enforcement agencies and Security Departments of other telcos/companies.
  •  Has experience in managing people and leading teams.
  •  Has broad knowledge of theory and principles of Security Management System.
  •  Possesses effective communication and negotiation skills to obtain desired outcome.
  •  Able to manage section’s budget and cost effectiveness.
  •  Able to conduct investigations, audits and trainings.
  •  Able to plan, organise and coordinate Emergency Response Procedures.
