Responsibilities
  • SALES
  • To canvass sales by providing excellent customer service, determining customer’s needs and product recommendation
  • To supervise and ensuring implementation of the sales strategies within each area/outlet specified to ensure sales planned conducted accordingly towards the achievement of sales budget
  • To recommend products especially those on promotion and encourage cross selling / chain selling to customers
  • To supervise product movement and assist on coordinating promotions activities to ensure promotion runs smoothly and enable to generate incremental sales
  • CUSTOMER RELATIONS
  • To ensure that all customers are given maximum courtesy and assistance at all times
  • To solve or assist staff on customer complaints and answering customer’s questions and complaints intelligently with tact and calm
  • To ensure close liaison with the customers
  • To attend and provide personalized service to the privilege card holders, tour group and pre order customers
  • MERCHANDISE
  • To ensure all fast moving products and promotions merchandise are available.
  • To monitor and provide information on slow moving item, feedback obtain from customer on requirements of new products and stock movement to assist on the recommendation required to be done for promotion and new product to be introduced
  • To ensure cleanliness of merchandising shelves, replenishment and display of merchandise and conditions of merchandise in terms of expiry dates and damages
  • PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE
  • To be knowledgeable of merchandise on the trading floor and assigned area
  • To identify the slow and fast moving merchandise
  • To ensure that merchandise assortments are correctly and appropriately done as directed by the executive in-charge
  • To ensure that stocks requested/ordered from the warehouse or buyer reach the sales floor on time
  • To effectively monitor the competition in the market place. Constantly survey competitors shop on product, range, price, display, etc.
  • OTHERS
  • To perform additional duties from time to time as assigned by the Management


Requirements
  • SPM or equivalent with a minimum 2 years relevant working experience
  • High degree of interpersonal and inter-relations skills
  • Market driven and aggressive
  • Possess good product knowledge, experience in duty free and travel retail environment
  • Well-groomed, mature and approachable
  • Able to commence work immediately
  • Attractive commission & incentive
